Sloths Paradise
13 de December de 2019After being guiding twice per day, 6/7 days per week in Manuel Antonio National Park, Costa Rica with my groups from TripAdvisor, Airbnb and website platforms and also being up on the top of the most recommended tours around the area, I mean BUSY! – Tours have come down to ZERO, and it´s been over 5 weeks since my last tour.
However, I´m aware that hard regulations will get longer and the reactivation of tourism will be slow and low. I have thought some good ideas to head the changes of how we guide and I will implement some cleaning protocoles before, during and after each tour sanitizing everyone and the equipment all the time.
Also ideas of “virtual tours” or “lives” while I do the tour as always while the tourist who has paid a fair rate for this experience can be safe at home watching this hike and the animals I find out through in a high resolution or GoPro way. Ideas come over and go but just ONE is needed to work out.
NO MATTER WHAT – I support, respect and follow the protocoles of quarantine and social distancing. I´m so grateful that the situation of COVID19 in Costa Rica is not bad in comparison with many other countries even when there were tourists from all around the world visiting Costa Rica during everyday of January and February. We´re really a blessed country and people!!
I want to finally say to all the people that have been affected in any condition by the corona virus: WE´LL GET IT OVER TOGETHER!
PLEASE! STAY SAFE, STAY AT HOME WITH YOUR FAMILY TAKING CARE OF THEM.
PURA VIDA,
MAURO
